这是我的毕业作品。我通过一个故事展现了我在Ringling艺术与设计学院四年的经历。
“Ball Bounce”是我教授教的第一堂动画课。我相信,通过展示动画从低质量到高质量、从简单设计到复杂设计的进步,能够有效地展示我职业发展的历程。
After Journey




最初,我打算通过各种风格展示我进步的过程。我的原计划是展示15种不同的风格,但由于时间限制,我不得不将这个数量减少到八种。
我在Pinterest上查找了多个参考资料。由于我的故事完全专注于球的弹跳,所以我跳过了分镜头剧本部分,直接进入了动画分镜制作。

基于此,我创建了动画分镜的第一个版本。我使用简单的图形形状来展示所有动画。

我对动画进行了改进,并剪掉了一些部分。
几周后,我完成了设计和几乎所有的动画。我在背景中添加了旁白和音乐

A simple sketch, a world of possibilities
At first, it was hard to get the ball rolling
Over and over
But I eventually found my stride
Design is tough, and was hard to found my place in it
But through good composure and composition, I learned my place
The further I got, the more complex the world become
Likewise, I began to see more dimensions to the world around me
Sometimes I trapped. There is so much to learn
So much variety in design
And variety of animation techniques
And multiple right answers!
It was a celebration of diversity in motion
But in this journey, not every leap was effortless
Running out of ideas, bad animation, poor designs…
Creative block. The black hole of creativity
but with the help of some great friends here at school, we overcame each challenge. Which in turn lead to even more discoveries!
The key is persistence. And listening to my mentors.
and now, here I am, at the cusp of this journey.
I wonder what is coming next?
